How to use Image Flipper

A closer look
Horizontal flipping swaps the left and right sides, like a mirror. Vertical flipping swaps the top and bottom. You can combine both, or turn them off to return to the original orientation. Text in the picture is mirrored too; this is useful for some transfer-printing workflows but can make a caption unreadable. The original file remains untouched.
A practical example
Flip a photo horizontally to mirror left and right. Any writing in the photo will also be mirrored; a vertical flip instead swaps top and bottom.

Is flipping the same as rotating?
No. A single flip mirrors the image. Turning both flips on has the same orientation as a 180° rotation.
